Phayao Election Commission Reveals Election Officer Caught Attempting to Insert 7 Ballots

The Phayao Election Commission reported that an election officer (กปน.) was caught attempting to insert 7 ballots before actually placing them in the ballot box. The incident occurred in Election District 1, Unit 6, Moo 4, Tha Wang Thong Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phayao Province. The officer was intercepted by the unit chairman while preparing to drop the ballots. The election officer admitted to being hired by a political party to carry out this action. The individual has been taken to the local police station, with evidence including an envelope containing money. Investigators suspect there may be similar incidents in other polling units and are continuing their investigation.
