NBTC Revokes JKN18 License, Orders Fee Payment and Viewer Compensation
The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has revoked the license for JKN18 channel and ordered fee payment and viewer compensation. During the NBTC meeting on February 13, the commission discussed license revocation and cancellation across broadcasting, television, and telecommunication services. The meeting, held at the NBTC office, approved the termination of the broadcasting license for JKN18 (Channel 18) owned by Chakrawan Commercial Holding Company, effective January 25, 2569. The company is required to pay annual license fees and transfer funds to the Broadcasting and Telecommunications Fund within 60 days of receiving the official notice.
