Suphan Hints at First-Time Breakthrough: Kla Tham Leads, Defeating Former Champion
On February 8, 2024, Suphan Buri shifted from pink to blue after Warawuth Silpa-archa's party members moved to Bhumjai Thai, intensifying the electoral competition. Specifically in District 3 (U Thong and Song Phi Nong), the Kla Tham party fielded a young candidate, Natchat Wongprasert (known as S.J. Stamp), candidate number 6, aiming to defeat the former champion Noppadol Matsi, a former MP now with Bhumjai Thai. Prior to the election, many predicted no party could breakthrough in Suphan Buri due to the area's strong connection to the Silpa-archa family. However, after polling closed at 5 PM and vote counting began, S.J. Stamp emerged leading. By 10:45 PM, Natchat had 39,899 votes compared to Noppadol's 35,422 votes (90% counted), suggesting Kla Tham might be the first party to breakthrough in Suphan Buri.
