Kasetsart Faculty Announces Ornamental Plant Competition Winners, 'Chai Pha Si Da Thai' Wins Royal Trophy

Kasetsart University's Agriculture Faculty, in collaboration with the Ornamental Plant Club, announced the winners of their 2026 ornamental plant competition during the Agriculture Fair. 'Chai Pha Si Da Thai' won the royal trophy, highlighting 26 years of national plant breeding development and enhancing Thai agricultural potential. The competition, held from February 5-7, 2026, at Kasetsart University's Chakraphong Phen Siri Building, featured entries in four plant categories: Kaew Kanchana (10 types), Anthurium (8 types), Bonsai (7 types), and Ferns (10 types). A total of 40 farmers submitted 482 potted plants. The overall royal trophy winner was the Thai Staghorn Fern (Platycerium) entry by Supansa Rodphan. Visitors are invited to view the award-winning plants and explore interesting Thai economic plant species until February 7, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
