Jurgen Klopp Reveals Liverpool's Unfortunate Season
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp commented that he feels the team has been particularly unlucky this season, with even pre-signed players getting injured. Previously, Liverpool announced signing Jeremy Jacquet, a rising defender from Rennes, for £60 million, with the player set to join the team in summer 2026. However, this past weekend, the defender sustained a shoulder injury while playing for Rennes, which is believed to be quite serious. Liverpool's performance has seen them dropping points in matches they should have won, and Klopp acknowledged the team's struggles, saying, 'It's always a question. It feels that way, certainly. Even players we've signed who haven't yet played for us are getting injured, which sometimes makes you feel that way.' He added, 'But when you start believing everything is about bad luck, luck might come to you. So we should avoid that as much as possible and focus on our performance and what we can do to improve.'
