Nonthaburi Youth Clinches Gold in Student Sports Games

The 45th National Student Sports Competition 'Khon Buri Ram Games' was held in Buri Ram province on February 11, 2024. In basketball, Region 1 Nonthaburi faced Region 10 Bangkok in a thrilling match at Buri Ram Rajabhat University Complex. After three quarters where Region 10 led 52-51, the final quarter was extremely close. Thanawat Pisanyutanapong's crucial 3-point shot in the last moments helped Region 1 Nonthaburi dramatically turn the game around, winning 67-66 and securing the gold medal. The competition also featured events in amateur boxing, cycling, rugby, tennis, and snooker, with participants from various regions of Thailand competing for medals.
