Alarming Fire at Chatuchak Market: Clothing Store Blaze Spreads to 28 Shops

On February 10, 2024, officials were alerted to a fire at Chatuchak Market (Gate 1) on Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road at 11:15 PM on February 9. The fire began in a clothing store and quickly spread through tightly packed market stalls. Firefighters worked intensively for over 40 minutes to control the blaze. Investigations revealed the fire started in a clothing store, causing rapid spread to neighboring shops. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
