Juthamard Leads Thai Boxing Team to Guaranteed 4 Bronze Medals in Boxing Championship

Juthamard Raksak, a national women's boxer with SEA Games gold and Asian Games 2022 silver medals, advanced to the semifinals of the Box-Zam International Tournament 2026 by defeating Gusum from India with a unanimous 5-0 score in the 51 kg women's category, guaranteeing at least a bronze medal. Besides Juthamard, three other Thai boxers also successfully reached the semifinals, including Poonrawee Rienros in the 57 kg women's category, Thananya Samnuk in the 60 kg women's category, and Kunatip Pidnuch in the 65 kg category, all securing bronze medals. Natthanicha Jongprongklang in the 54 kg women's category was eliminated in the pre-semifinal round after losing 0-5 to Punam from India. The tournament is being held in Lanusia, Valencia, Spain, with Thai boxers competing in 5 matches on the third day of the event. The semifinal matches will take place on February 6th, Thai time, featuring four Thai boxers in different weight categories.
