Anutin Visits Prachinburi, Thanks Supporters and Promises 'Half-Half Plus' Program if Continuing to Govern
At 5:00 PM on February 10, 2024, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Interior Minister, arrived at the Prachinburi Provincial Administrative Organization office to thank local residents after winning the election overwhelmingly. Upon arrival, he greeted local volunteers and students, with children excitedly approaching him, some wearing Bhumjai Thai party jackets. Students requested photos and autographs, which Anutin happily provided.
During his visit, Anutin discussed the 'Half-Half Plus' program, expressing disappointment about early parliament dissolution that prevented implementing the second phase before Chinese New Year. He promised to implement the program if re-elected.
Regarding border issues with Cambodia, Anutin confidently stated that Thailand has reclaimed territories previously occupied and will focus on developing these areas to ensure safety and economic opportunities. He also firmly stated that border crossings would remain closed, prioritizing Thailand's national interests.
When community health volunteers approached him about specific legislation, Anutin promised to support their legal protections, emphasizing his commitment to beneficial proposals that do not cause national disruption.
