Sakoltee Asks Bangkok Voters to Choose Democrat Party on Both Ballot Types
Sakoltee thanked Abhisit Vejjajiva, the party's leader and prime ministerial candidate, for leading the election campaign. At the Bangkok Forum event on February 6th, the Democrat Party held a major rally called 'Safe Path, Trust in Abhisit' with over 2,500 seats filled and many standing around the venue. Speaking at 6 PM, Sakoltee Phattiyakul, the party's deputy leader for Bangkok, emphasized the importance of voters choosing the Democrat Party on both ballot types. He argued that by securing 33 constituency seats and party-list seats in Bangkok, they could definitely win 40 MPs, not including southern and nationwide representation. 'If we are elected in sufficient numbers, we can help steer the country in the right direction, regardless of our political status,' Sakoltee stated.
