Krungsri Foundation Donates 500,000 Baht to Support Kasetsart Hospital Construction

Dr. Damrong Sri-Praram, Acting President of Kasetsart University, received a 500,000 baht donation from Mr. Poonsit Wongthawatchai, assistant secretary of Krungsri Foundation, on February 18, 2026, at the university's administrative office. The Faculty of Medicine is established for teaching, research, medical training, and medical services, focusing on Agro-Medicine and Bio-Innovation. The project aims to develop a medical center to improve Thai people's quality of life sustainably. The university is responding to changing health, public health, economic, and social situations, particularly in light of COVID-19, zoonotic diseases, and emerging health challenges. The medical park project includes medical, nursing, and pharmaceutical faculties, with plans to build a 400-bed hospital. Currently, the first and second batches of medical students have been admitted, with plans to expand programs.
