Bitget Hosts LALIGA Youth Tournament, World-Class Youth Football Competition in Thailand
Bitget is hosting the second LALIGA Youth Tournament in Thailand, offering the largest support in Asia of over 300 million baht through the 'Blockchain4Youth' project. The initiative aims to promote precision in sports through blockchain technology. Ignacio Aguirre Franco, a Bitget brand representative, revealed the company's vision of exploring Web3 technology through the youth football tournament. The project supports over 2,000 young football players across Southeast Asia, providing educational support and leadership skills to prepare them for the digital economy. The tournament launched at the Football Association of Thailand's High-Performance Training Center and is considered the largest youth football support project in Southeast Asia. The 2026 competition will feature 86 teams from 8 countries, including Thailand, China, Japan, and India, with a global support value of over 300 million baht (10 million USD). The initiative aims to provide educational tools and leadership skills to millennials and Gen Z, preparing them for a digital-centered economy.
