The Department of Religious Affairs, Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Noing Buddha Foundation will launch the Global Meditation Connect (GMC) project on February 14, 2026, at Wat Arun in Bangkok, focusing on connecting global citizens through meditation practices. Chaipon Suk-iam, Director-General of Religious Affairs, highlighted the project's goal of using meditation as a universal tool for mental wellness, stress reduction, and social harmony. The event will feature a creative, modern spiritual approach to meditation, accessible to all ages and beliefs. Scheduled on Valentine's Day, the project aims to expand the meaning of 'love' into a dimension of universal compassion, inviting Buddhists, citizens, and international tourists to participate in a collective meditation experience at Wat Arun.
