Phuket People's Party Loses One Constituency, Giving Way to Kla Party
Phuket People's Party has lost one constituency to Kla Party after previously dominating three districts. As of February 8, 2569, reporters from Phuket province reported the vote counting progress for parliamentary representatives. A total of 214,610 voters participated, representing 65% of 330,148 eligible voters.
In the unofficial results at 21:29:
Constituency 1: Somchat Techathaworncharoen (Candidate No. 3, People's Party) received 16,919 votes
Constituency 2: Chalermphol Sangdee (Candidate No. 6, People's Party) received 24,355 votes
Constituency 3: Orathai Kerdsap (Candidate No. 3, Kla Party) received 30,029 votes
In Constituency 3, vote counting is nearly complete at 99.36%, with only 3 out of 468 polling units remaining. These unofficial results are from the Phuket Provincial Police Dashboard and do not yet include advance voting, so results may still change before official certification.
