Thanathorn Joins Wife and Son to Cast Election Vote, Hopes for Understanding of Past 8 Years

Thanathorn Jurungruangkit, leader of the Progressive Party and campaign assistant for the People's Party, cast his vote at Ram Khamhaeng University 2 on February 8th. Accompanied by his wife and youngest son, he carefully checked the voter list before entering the voting booth. He emphasized voting with hope and enthusiasm, believing that Thailand must improve. Thanathorn expressed hope that citizens would understand their genuine intentions for the country's future over the past 8 years. He encouraged high voter turnout, ideally reaching 80%, which he believes would demonstrate the strength of Thai democracy. Discussing the voting process with his son, Thanathorn explained democracy as a system where everyone has one equal vote and the right to choose representatives. He also urged citizens to protect their votes by monitoring polling stations and documenting the vote counting process to prevent potential irregularities. After voting, many supporters wearing orange shirts approached him for photos, creating an energetic atmosphere at the polling station.
