Thammanat Casts Vote, Feels Excited Despite Multiple Political Terms, Urges Phayao Residents to Exercise Their Right
At 9:00 AM on February 8, 2024, at Polling Unit 15 in Phayao Province, Maj. Thammanat Phromphao, chairman of the Klaa Tham Party and prime ministerial candidate, cast his vote accompanied by his wife Thanaporn Sriviraj and son Im-boon. Thammanat expressed that each election still creates excitement, even with his extensive political experience. He noted that two years is too short a period for political work within a four-year framework, as many projects and problem-solving initiatives are still in progress and have not yet shown full concrete results. 'From a politician's perspective, two years is too quick. We prepared for four years of work, with many things moving forward, but when political situations lack stability, policy pushing and problem-solving get interrupted,' Thammanat said. After voting, he planned to travel to the Klaa Tham Party headquarters in Bangkok to monitor vote counting, with his local team tracking results in Phayao. He urged Phayao residents to vote, emphasizing that their voices are crucial in determining the region's political direction and development.
