Tah Wu - Offroad Explains Tax Post: 'May Those Who Use It for Personal Gain Be Damned'
Speaking as a citizen! Young actor Tah Wu Pitaya Saechua previously posted a provocative message about taxes: 'May those who use my taxes for personal benefit be damned!' This became a major talking point during the current parliamentary election period.
Recently, two hot celebrities - Tah Wu and Offroad Kantapon Jindathwipol - attended the Krungthong Plaza Thank You Party 25th Anniversary at the Amari Hotel in Bangkok. Tah Wu explained his stance, saying taxes are a common issue that everyone pays. He believes tax revenues must be used correctly for all Thai citizens, from government and state enterprise budgets to funding for children's education.
He emphasized that misusing public funds is essentially corruption, a practice that has existed since the Ayutthaya period. 'It's like stealing from the people,' he stated. Tah Wu stressed that these are not just his personal funds, but money earned through the support of fans and customers, and should be used to benefit everyone in the country.
Addressing potential criticism about his strong language, he argued that the actual corrupt actions are far more violent than his words. He called for transparency and fairness, asking whether tax revenues truly benefit retired citizens, young students, and future workforce development across all provinces.
