Sruang Files Police Complaint Against Famous Facebook Page for Spreading False Information
Sruang Thientong, also known as 'S. Boy', a parliamentary representative candidate for Sakaeo's District 3 from the Pheu Thai Party, visited the police station on February 8th, 2569 to file a complaint with Police Lieutenant Colonel Chawarin Khamrieng regarding false information published on social media that caused damage to his reputation. A famous Facebook page with hundreds of thousands of followers posted information about Sruang's parliamentary meeting attendance, claiming he attended 52 meetings and was absent for 55 times, which Sruang strongly denies. After verifying the records with official party documentation, Sruang confirmed the posts were entirely false and decided to file a complaint for defamation and computer-related offenses. He also noted that the page's admin is a parliamentary candidate from District 1 in Sakaeo, potentially suggesting political motivations. Sruang provided documentation showing he actually attended 171 out of 183 total meetings between July 1st, 2013 and December 12th, 2025, contradicting the online claims.
