At 3:00 PM on February 13, 2024, at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, Anupong Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister and Interior Minister, along with party leaders, welcomed Pheu Thai leaders including Yoschan Wongswasdi, the party's prime ministerial candidate. During the meeting, Anupong stated they feel honored by the high-level Pheu Thai executives visiting to discuss government formation. Despite unofficial election results, they want to avoid a prolonged political vacuum. Pheu Thai agreed to support Bhumjaithai as the core government-forming party. Anupong emphasized that both parties see their quality personnel as capable of driving Thailand towards a stable, strong, and sustainable future. He noted that further discussions will continue to finalize government formation details. Yoschan and Prasert Chantaravangtong from Pheu Thai confirmed their support and readiness to collaborate.
