Karen Chan Leung, Thai National Ski Athlete, Ranks 7th in Asia at Winter Olympics in Italy
The cross-country skiing individual women's 10-kilometer freestyle interval start competition took place on February 12, 2026 in Italy during the 25th Winter Olympic Games. Thai national athlete Karen Chan Leung was the sole representative from Thailand in this event. Competing against 111 athletes from 46 countries (with Karen ranked 110th), she exceeded her initial expectations by finishing with a time of 28:39.7 minutes, ranking 84th overall and 7th among Asian athletes. Sweden's Frida Karlsson won the gold medal, finishing just 5.50 minutes ahead of Karen, marking her best performance to date.
