On February 9, Rear Admiral Parach Rattanachaipan, Navy spokesperson, revealed that the Navy continues to tightly monitor border areas to prevent illegal border crossings. The Chanthaburi-Trat Border Defense Command successfully intercepted 10 Cambodian migrant workers, consisting of 3 men, 4 women, and 3 children near Ban Laem, Thep Nimit Subdistrict, Pong Nam Ron District, Chanthaburi Province. No legal travel documents were found. Preliminary investigation showed the group had traveled from Rayong and Chanthaburi provinces and intended to return to Cambodia.
