Music Teacher Panics, Files Police Report After School Director Threatens to Kill Entire Family

On February 11, 2024, a music teacher from a school in Chumphon province filed a police report at the Tha Sae Police Station after reporting the school director to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC). The teacher discovered irregularities in school lunch budget spending, including claims of food budget claims on days without classes or meal service. After reporting the issue, the teacher was subjected to severe threats, including verbal attacks suggesting the director would "kill the entire family" and "shoot him dead". The teacher found evidence of false budget claims during the second semester of the 2023 academic year, specifically on December 7-8, apparently to prepare for a potential royal award assessment. The NACC has initially investigated and transferred the case to the Government Corruption Prevention and Suppression Office (PACC) for further action.
