Army Delighted as Online Military Recruitment Exceeds Target by 69, Reflecting Thai Youth Confidence

On February 13, 2024, at Army Headquarters, Lieutenant Colonel Yada Chotichodchadul, Army Spokesperson, revealed that the online special recruitment process for military service was completed on January 25, 2024. The Army opened 28,209 recruitment slots, with 29,891 applicants showing strong interest from Thai youth. After screening qualifications, documents, and health checks, 20,402 candidates were selected to report for service on May 1 and 3, 2024. Selected recruits will receive special benefits, including a quota for non-commissioned officer exam, additional academic exam points, and various welfare privileges such as medical rights, educational support, and professional training.
