The Department of Business Development is preparing a major event to open opportunities for Thai SMEs of all sizes to access funding sources and remove collateral restrictions. The event, titled 'Strengthening Understanding of Business Security Laws', will be held on March 16, 2024, at the Graph Hotel in Bangkok. The program will feature comprehensive exhibitions on business security laws, academic seminars by expert speakers, and financial experts who will help businesses understand how to secure loans using various assets beyond traditional home and land collateral. The department plans to conduct similar knowledge-sharing events in regional provinces including Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, and Songkhla, targeting key economic centers with numerous registered business security contracts.
