Nalantha Complains to Election Commission About Vote Count Discrepancies in Nakhon Ratchasima

On February 9, Lamthan Nalantha Boonchet, a Nakhon Ratchasima parliamentary candidate for District 13, Number 6 from the People's Party, visited the provincial Election Commission office to file a complaint with Ms. Piyanat Klangphnom, the district election director. She raised concerns about potential irregularities in vote counting that may not comply with Election Commission regulations. Nalantha pointed out discrepancies between announced vote counts and actual polling unit numbers. A board at the Sikhio District Office showed 65,982 valid ballots, 6,426 invalid ballots, and 4,999 ballots with no candidate selected, totaling 77,407 votes. However, the official announcement listed 77,721 votes, a difference of 314 votes. The Election Commission responded that the current results are unofficial and potential data entry errors could occur during the vote counting process.
