Thung Song Warehouse Fire Causes Over 60 Million Baht in Damage
NAKHON SI THAMMARAT — On February 10, 2026, a devastating fire swept through the Yong Charoen department store warehouse in Thung Song late on February 9, completely destroying the building and causing extensive damage. Police Captain Somporn Nitipak from Thung Song Police Station reported that emergency services were alerted just before midnight, with fire engines quickly dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the warehouse fully ablaze, with flames rapidly consuming the storage facility packed with consumer goods. At least three vehicles, including delivery trucks, were damaged during the incident. The Yong Charoen warehouse, a critical distribution hub for wholesale products, was completely destroyed in the fire.
