Supachai Blasts Democrat Party: Is Political Integrity Real?
At a campaign rally in Hat Yai, Surat Thani, Supachai Chaisamut, a Bhumjaithai Party list MP candidate, launched a scathing attack on the Democrat Party. He argued that Southern Thailand has not developed in 30 years, despite Trang province having multiple former prime ministers and parliamentary leaders.
Supachai specifically targeted Abhisit Vejjajiva, questioning the party's claims of integrity and highlighting local corruption issues. He also criticized Chuan Leekpai's family, mentioning a brother accused of bank embezzlement and another facing corruption charges.
The politician challenged the Democrat Party's narrative, suggesting they have been deceiving people for decades. He pointed out contradictions within the party, including family members running for different political parties, and urged Southern voters not to be swayed by smooth talk or appearances.
