Gen. Rangsi Declares Unconditional Support for Bhumjaithai Party Government Formation

At 5:00 PM on February 12, 2024, at Prince Hotel in Din Daeng, Gen. Rangsi Kittiyanasap, leader of the Setthakit Party, led party executives and MP candidates to announce their stance on joining the government. The Setthakit Party expressed gratitude for receiving public support as a new party, having secured 3 party-list MPs. Gen. Rangsi confirmed the party's collective decision to support Bhumjaithai Party and participate in government formation without demanding specific positions. He emphasized that the party will leave position assignments entirely to Bhumjaithai Party. Regarding policy cooperation, Rangsi highlighted potential collaboration on security matters, including scammer suppression, border security, and canceling MOU 44. On election result challenges, he stated that any legal review must be handled by the Election Commission.
