Election Commission Seeks to Verify Facts Amid Voting Irregularities in Multiple Areas

At 2:00 PM on February 9th, Acting Secretary-General Lt. Pasakorn Siripakyaporn of the Election Commission (EC) reported ongoing investigations into voting irregularities. Cases in Nan Province and Phayao Province involve ballot-tearing and unauthorized ballot insertion by election committee members. The vote-counting process, completed on February 8th, requires further investigation to ensure fairness. Regarding a recount at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Pasakorn emphasized that the recount would not change election results. He also dismissed rumors of party leadership changes and stated that the EC is carefully examining all reported incidents across various provinces.
