Dairy Promotion Board Orders Wachree to Suspend Duties Following Inappropriate Comments

The Dairy Promotion Organization of Thailand board has issued order 6/2569 to temporarily suspend Wachree Wannasri from her director position. This follows instructions from Deputy Prime Minister Thammanat Prompao, who requested an investigation into the director's management and online comments that might damage the organization's reputation. The order was based on complaints from the state enterprise labor union and a special board meeting on February 3, 2024. The suspension takes effect from February 6, 2024, and will continue until the investigation is complete, signed by Major General Jirantorn Kritsana, the board's chairman.
