SPRC Shows Revenue of $7.31 Billion, Boosts Net Profit by 31.6%
Star Petroleum Refining Public Company Limited (SPRC) reported strong 2025 financial performance, with total revenue of $7,317.8 million and net profit of $78.8 million, a 31.6% increase from the previous year. CEO Herbert Matthew Penn II highlighted that the fourth quarter saw total revenue of $1,778.5 million and net profit of $33.5 million, supported by high gross profit margins despite oil stock losses from crude oil price fluctuations. The company's gross profit margin excluding oil stock losses improved significantly from $6.85 to $10.43 per barrel, driven by higher middle distillate product price differentials. SPRC also emphasized its commitment to energy leadership, sustainable growth, and delivering energy through safe and reliable processes. The board proposed a dividend of 0.45 baht per share, with 0.15 baht already distributed and 0.30 baht to be paid on May 8, 2024, pending shareholder approval.
