Karee Criticizes Extreme Populist Parties, Warns of Debt Burden on Future Generations
On February 6, 2569 at the Bangkok Forum, Karee Leaopairoj, Deputy Leader of the Democrat Party and Prime Ministerial candidate, delivered a powerful speech about the upcoming election. She emphasized that this election is crucial, not just about choosing representatives, but about selecting a leader who can guide Thailand towards a better future.
Karee highlighted the emotional connections she's experienced on the campaign trail, with people thanking her party's leadership for their sacrifice and commitment. She strongly criticized other political parties for their extreme populist approaches, pointing out that newborn children are already saddled with over 200,000 baht in national debt.
"Some parties talk about radical system changes, but in these fragile times, we need intelligent, professional, and understanding transformation," she stated. Karee urged political parties to focus on Thailand's future, suggesting they should set clear goals for the country's development in the next 5 to 10 years.
She stressed the importance of rebuilding Thailand's competitive economic position, reducing corruption, and creating an environment that attracts ethical investments. "Today, it is our duty to choose trustworthy, demonstrably honest people who will take real action," Karee concluded, emphasizing that the Democrat Party's ethics must exceed legal requirements.
