On February 7, at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, addressed the circulating image of him dining with Ben Smith during the last day of campaigning. He definitively stated it was an AI-generated image, noting the photo was supposedly from 2005 when he was Deputy Commerce Minister and first met Ben. He claimed the recent image has an unknown intention, and the woman sitting next to him was completely unfamiliar. When asked about potential legal action against the AI image, Anutin stated he had no issues, explaining that during the past month he has likely taken thousands of photos with people and cannot reject every photo as a public figure. He advised focusing on intention and warned against engaging with individuals potentially violating constitutional laws.
