In the unofficial general election results for Nong Bua Lamphu's District 2, Pheu Thai party candidate Rungphet Srikanjana defeated Chaiya Proma of the Kla Dharma Party. Chaiya, a former multi-term MP who previously belonged to Pheu Thai before switching parties, was soundly beaten by over 10,000 votes. After the unofficial results, Rungphet thanked voters for their overwhelming support of over 30,000 votes, expressing gratitude to his family, team, and the Pheu Thai party leadership for the opportunity to enter parliament.
