Pathum Thani Protesters Demand Vote Recount, Accuse Election Officials of Hiding Irregularities
At 9:00 PM on February 8th, over 300 students and citizens protested at the Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi polling station, demanding transparency in vote counting. Demonstrators claimed election officials prevented them from observing the vote count, covered security cameras with black cloth, and completed counting without public witnesses. A student representative named Phakrunphon argued that officials blocked observers, citing 'work disruption' and completed ballot counting without allowing public scrutiny. Police from Thanyaburi and Khlong Ha were present to maintain order. Perm Marsri from the Election Commission's provincial office received the complaint and stated they would compile evidence to submit to the main Election Commission for potential recount.
