CK Speaks Out After Election Commission Meeting over Grandmother's Vote-Buying Post
CK Cheong opened up after meeting with the Election Commission, emphasizing his willingness to cooperate in combating vote buying. On February 4, Election Commission Secretary Sawaeng Boonmee ordered an investigation into CK Cheong, founder of Fastwork online freelance platform, following his Facebook post about a grandmother receiving 2,000 baht for voting.
In a recent personal Facebook post, Cheong expressed shock over various allegations against him, including criminal cases in America, sexual harassment claims, and accusations of cheating foreigners. He challenged people to dig into these claims and find evidence.
Regarding the Election Commission's request to meet, Cheong stated it was an honor to cooperate and hopes his information can help fight vote buying. He humorously mentioned that his grandmother is now angry with him and promised to buy her a new TV and iPad. He concluded by encouraging everyone to vote on February 8.
