People's Party Leader Natthaphong Pledges Renewed Effort After Election Results
People's Party leader Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut called on the Election Commission to investigate vote counting irregularities on Monday, while still accepting the overall election outcome. Speaking at a press conference, he noted the party expects to secure around 88 constituency seats and over 30 party-list seats, though final results are still pending.
Natthaphong urged supporters to remain hopeful and committed to the political process, emphasizing that every vote matters. He acknowledged multiple factors affecting the party's performance and committed to working harder and understanding political strategies for future elections.
Regarding government formation, he maintained the party's stance that they cannot join a coalition as long as Bhumjaithai remains the core party in forming the government. He promised a thorough review of the party's campaign and strategy to improve future electoral performance.
