On May 19, 2025, Thontong Sukkaeng, known as "Tone Bangkhae," along with Panya Kraiphakdikun ("Hum Nakhon Pathom") and Jen Piyathat, traveled to the Government Complaint Center to file a petition for justice with the Prime Minister in his capacity as chairman of the Police Commission. They requested an investigation into Deputy Police Chief Pol. Maj. Gen. Charuneekiat Pankaew.
Tone stated that he had previously filed a formal complaint through proper channels. However, Pol. Maj. Gen. Charuneekiat, a high-ranking police officer, subsequently gave interviews to media and appeared on various programs, which Tone views as adversarial public statements. Tone claimed that these statements could influence public perception and cause him harm, such as being labeled a "crook" or criminal, potentially damaging his reputation and honest livelihood.
"I have genuinely been affected by this, and there are no formal charges against me yet. But when such communications occur, it may cause society to prejudge," Tone stated.
Tone further requested that the Prime Minister, as overseer of the Royal Thai Police, investigate whether the officer's interviews and statements were appropriate, as government officials should perform their duties neutrally without affecting innocent people who have not been convicted.
Meanwhile, Panya ("Hum Nakhon Pathom") filed a complaint regarding serious physical assault and brain injuries he suffered since early 2568 (2025), claiming it is related to loan disputes involving the same creditor group as Tone Bangkhae.
Jen also submitted a petition to the Prime Minister requesting investigation into a check case worth 65 million baht currently under litigation, involving disputes with the same party group as Tone Bangkhae. He expressed concerns about potential investigation irregularities and stated that he fears harassment, as he plans to apply for the position of director of the Sports Authority of Thailand in September 2569 (2026).
Deputy Secretary to the Prime Minister Nopphon Boongaew received the documents and stated they would be forwarded to the Prime Minister for consideration according to proper procedures.
