Coach Chakrapan Panpee, head coach of Thailand's under-19 national football team, has announced a 23-player squad for the 2026 AFF Championship in Indonesia. Recently appointed by the Football Association of Thailand, Coach Panpee will lead the team through the tournament scheduled for June 1-13 in Sumatra.
Thailand's U-19 squad has been placed in Group B, joining Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. The group stage will feature round-robin matches, with the winner from each of the three groups plus the best-placed second-place team advancing to the semi-finals.
The 23-player roster includes goalkeepers Pumirapat Siriboonnyagul (Kashima Gakuen School), Rangsiman Khemmueang (Port Authority FC), and Supakorn Poolpol (Nongbua Pitchaya FC). Defenders include Weechien Inaram, Phurich Satrapshen, and Surachai Bunchare of True Bangkok United, Jiraphong Chameskulul of Ban Bueng FC, Suphannath Mahawaiy of Buriram United, Theerathep Thongkham of Hornbill Junior Club, Aphiwich Laaorkai of Buripha United, and Punyaphop Khunsi.
Midfielders consist of Danupon Bubpha (Muangthong United), David Songsampao (Hua Hin City), Ratchanon Kochseni (Buriram United), Pichaya Kongsri (True Bangkok United), Pattrathorn Buranjsuk (Nongbua Pitchaya FC), and Peerda Lasawat (Pram Bangkok). Forwards include Wittawas Praothaisung, Ittimon Tipnate, and Shivakorn Ponsonrak of BG Pathum United, Kongnart Thuamthongdi (Chamchuri United), Nattakitti Photsri (Port Authority FC), and Sirisarn Janchaemchai (Assumption United).
The squad will train at Dynamic Football Camp in Samut Prakan until May 28 before departing for Indonesia on May 29. Group stage matches are scheduled for June 2 against Brunei at 4:00 PM (Teladang Stadium), June 5 against Singapore at 8:00 PM (Teladang Stadium), and June 8 against Malaysia at 8:00 PM (Madya Stadium). This tournament serves as preparation for the 2027 AFC U-20 Asian Championship qualification round, scheduled for August 31 to September 6.
