An Anti-Corruption Court sentenced two NACC officials to three years in prison for conspiring to conceal documents about luxury watches owned by former Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, despite court orders demanding disclosure.

4d ago Khaosod

On May 27, 2025, the Anti-Corruption Court heard its verdict in a case filed by Weerawat Somkhwamkit, secretary-general of the People Network Against Corruption, against 12 NACC administrators and commissioners. The case alleged that defendants conspired to conceal documents related to luxury watches owned by General Prayut Chan-o-cha.

The plaintiff, described as a human rights activist and chairman of the People Network Against Corruption, accused the defendants of dereliction of duty spanning from August 22, 2019, to May 23, 2024.

The charges included:

1. Eight defendants allegedly failed in their duties by refusing to provide requested information about General Prayut's luxury watch collection despite an administrative court ruling and a data disclosure committee decision ordering disclosure of three categories of documents: (1) fact-finding and evidence compilation reports, (2) opinions of all responsible NACC officials, and (3) relevant NACC meeting minutes.

2. Six defendants allegedly violated an administrative court judgment by refusing to disclose the three categories of documents as determined by the data disclosure committee.

3. Seven defendants allegedly violated a central administrative court order requiring the NACC to comply with the supreme administrative court ruling (case No. 224/2566) regarding disclosure of luxury watch and diamond ring information.

4. Seven defendants allegedly failed to comply with the central administrative court order, resulting in the court imposing 5,000-baht fines on both the NACC office and the NACC commissioners.

The court found that all 12 defendants acted in conspiracy to conceal information related to the improper concealment of assets in General Prayut's wealth declaration, despite the data disclosure committee's ruling ordering disclosure.

Solve Hair Loss from the Root: Restore Your Hair's Strength and Confidence with Expert-Formulated Anti-Hair Loss Shampoo

Vichy Dercos anti-hair loss shampoo targets weak hair roots using Aminexil and other strengthening ingredients to reduce shedding and restore scalp balance.

4d ago Khaosod

Seeing clumps of hair clogging the drain after shampooing, or strands of hair coming out in bunches when combing, is an unsettling experience many people face. The situation becomes even more concerning when you notice an expanding bald patch, which can significantly shake your confidence in daily life and social interactions. Hair loss can affect anyone regardless of gender or age due to various environmental factors, and without proper care, it can develop into a much harder problem to treat in the future.

Understanding the True Cause of Hair Loss

Abnormal hair shedding typically stems from weak hair roots and a scalp that has lost its natural balance. When collagen around the hair roots becomes rigid and loses elasticity, it reduces the hair's grip on the scalp, making strands fall out more easily than normal. Sustainable solutions therefore shouldn't focus only on treating the hair ends, but rather on restoring and strengthening the hair root structure.

Innovative Hair Care from Vichy Dercos

Choosing products with proven research backing is essential to address these concerns from the root. The Vichy Dercos anti-hair loss shampoo in red formula is recommended—it features innovation specifically designed for weak scalps. Its key active ingredients include:

Aminexil: A patented molecule that has undergone extensive research to strengthen hair roots and resist collagen hardening around the hair root area.

Strengthened Anchoring: Acts as a protective shield that extends hair lifespan, improves hair grip on the scalp, and addresses the problem precisely.

Targeted Deep Nourishment: Restores scalp balance, creates an ideal environment, and promotes the growth of healthy new hair.

All Vichy products undergo rigorous clinical testing overseen by dermatology and scalp care experts, ensuring real, visible results while remaining gentle and irritant-free. For those seeking to restore confidence and hair health with clearer and faster results, it's recommended to use this cleansing product alongside a root nourishing serum from the same line for comprehensive and optimal care.

General Rangsi stated that the party aims to improve quality of life in Bangkok by introducing innovations to solve persistent urban problems and elevate living standards to match global metropolitan cities. He outlined five key policies:

1. Introduce AI technology to manage traffic signals across Bangkok and coordinate with railway systems to prevent disasters.

2. Install closed-circuit cameras throughout Bangkok for public safety, with accessible footage available to citizens.

3. Increase drainage points and water pumps to cover all areas and improve water drainage efficiency.

Pheu Thai Party Votes to Turn Over Chonnapat to DSI, Urges Him to Take Responsibility and Waive Immunity

Pheu Thai Party voted to allow Songkhla MP Chonnapat Naksan to face DSI charges related to an online gambling investigation, urging him to voluntarily waive his parliamentary immunity to demonstrate transparency.

4d ago Khaosod

On May 27, 2569, Panida Mongkholswasdi, a Samut Prakan MP and Pheu Thai deputy spokesperson, announced that following a DSI request for the arrest of Chonnapat Naksan, a Songkhla MP from Palang Pracharath Party, in connection with an online gambling website investigation, parliament had scheduled an urgent agenda item for May 28. The Pheu Thai parliamentary caucus voted to permit Chonnapat to appear before parliament to hear the charges and answer questions during the session.

The party justified this decision on two grounds: First, constitutional immunity under Article 125 of Thailand's Constitution is intended to protect MPs' ability to freely perform their duties as people's representatives, particularly during parliamentary sessions, without obstruction. Second, the immunity provisions exist to prevent political persecution and to protect MPs from having the justice system weaponized against them to obstruct their oversight functions.

However, after reviewing the facts and law in this case, the party believes justice should proceed normally in the interest of transparency. To set an appropriate standard and demonstrate sincerity to the public, the Pheu Thai Party believes the accused should publicly declare his voluntary waiver of immunity and submit fully to legal proceedings to prove his innocence as quickly as possible.
