Anutin: Government Not Directly Involved in 2026 World Cup Broadcasting Rights Negotiations
Prime Minister Anutin clarified that the government is not directly negotiating 2026 World Cup broadcasting rights, instead designating the Public Relations Department to coordinate with relevant parties on the matter.
Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Interior Minister stated in an interview on May 16 at the Defense Ministry's Building 2 before traveling to Phetchabun province that following the cabinet's approval designating the Public Relations Department as the lead coordinating agency for World Cup 2026 broadcast negotiations, the government is not directly involved and the results will depend on how relevant parties negotiate the rights.
