BG Pathum Signs English Striker Ashley Coffey for 2026/27 Season
English striker Ashley Coffey, 32, has signed with BG Pathum United for the 2026/27 season after previous stints across Europe, China, and Jordan.
BG Pathum United has officially introduced 32-year-old English forward Ashley Coffey to bolster the team's attack for the upcoming 2026/27 season. Coffey spoke enthusiastically about joining "The Rabbit," saying: "I'm very excited. This transfer happened quickly, and when I heard about BG Pathum United's offer, I knew immediately I wanted to join this club. Another factor is returning to play in Asian competition, which thrills me greatly." He added: "I've played in different countries across Europe and Asia, including China and Jordan. Now I'm looking forward to playing in Thailand, which has been one of my dreams, and finally I'm here with this club." Coffey began his professional career with West Oakland Town in 2013 before playing for several English clubs including Newton Aycliffe (2014-2016), Marske United (2016-2018), and Whitby Town (2018-2019). In 2019, he moved to Swedish football with Huddings, Haningge, and AFC Eskilstuna until 2023, when he joined AC Oulu in Finland's top league. In 2025, he transferred to Asian football with Shanghai Jiading Hullong from China, followed by signing with Jordanian powerhouse Al-Hussein in 2026. Most recently, he officially became a member of BG Pathum United.
