Body Found Encased in Cement Inside Water Tank
Police recovered a cement-filled water tank from a pond in Nonthaburi Province containing the decomposed remains of Uthen, a 39-year-old man who disappeared months ago. Suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder case.
The case involves Uthen, also known as Chia, a 39-year-old man who disappeared months ago. Police determined he had been murdered, with his body placed inside a cement-filled tank and dumped in a large pond in Moo 11, Bang Bua Thong Subdistrict, Bang Bua Thong District, Nonthaburi Province. Suspects have been arrested, and authorities recovered the tank during an afternoon search operation.
At 5 p.m. on July 1, 2026, rescue divers successfully retrieved the blue plastic tank from the water. A forensic investigation team and medical examiners from the Police Hospital's forensic institute examined the tank on site. Officers initially used an electric saw to cut through the plastic, which broke three saw blades before the lid could be opened. A strong foul odor immediately emerged from inside.
Inside, investigators found large cement blocks mixed with decomposed human remains. The concrete was then broken apart, and tissue samples were collected for autopsy confirmation and formal identification of the deceased.
