Brand New Car Flips Over on Slight Hill Just Hours After Leaving Showroom, Badly Damaged
A brand-new sedan flipped on a slight hill just hours after leaving the showroom on April 26, with the driver traveling at only 40 km/h. The incident sparked debate over whether the vehicle's lane-keeping system malfunctioned.
On April 26, TikTok user @user7581817295392 posted shocking footage of a red-plated sedan that crashed just hours after leaving the showroom. The black sedan was found flipped upside down in the middle of the road with extensive damage early that morning, before a tow truck arrived to right the vehicle and clear it from traffic. According to someone in the video: "The car just left the showroom at 9 a.m. The driver was only going 40 [km/h] and it flipped on just a slight hill."
The post sparked numerous comments, with some speculating: "I understand this car's system automatically pulls the vehicle back into the lane if it drifts without the turn signal on, right?" Others countered: "The driver said they were only going 40, but this system activates at 72 kilometers per hour and above."
When asked how the poster knew the car was brand new, they replied: "I was at the scene, and this car hit my sister's vehicle. We spoke with the other party and the car was completely packed."
