Sisaket United fans were left baffled after the home side turned off the stadium lights on the away section while the visiting supporters were still cheering at full volume, following the match where Sisaket United, the newly promoted side, stunned Buriram United 3-2 at Chang Arena. The match, dubbed 'Lamduan Pleang', saw the newcomers hand the defending champions their first league defeat of the 2026-27 Thai League 1 season on October 24, 2026. However, after the final whistle, the Sisaket Hardcore fan page posted a clip showing the lights over the away end being switched off despite fans still packing the stands and not having fully exited, captioned 'Turning off lights to chase us away' and 'Wow!!! Sisaket fans haven't left the stadium, the atmosphere is still buzzing, Buriram turns off lights to chase us.'
