In Mae Ka Subdistrict, Muang District, Phayao Province, residents are buzzing with excitement after local homeowner Voravuth Chansitong discovered an extraordinarily colored snakehead fish with a brilliant golden body throughout. He first thought it might be a ruby fish, but after searching online, he discovered it was a golden snakehead fish. According to ancient beliefs, golden snakehead fish symbolize good fortune, wealth, and abundance, making them extremely rare.

After his girlfriend took photos and posted them on her personal Facebook, many people contacted him hoping to purchase the fish. However, both he and his girlfriend have decided not to sell it. They plan to keep the fish, believing that the golden snakehead will bring good fortune and prosperity to them and their family.
