PTT Opens Applications for New CEO Position

PTT Public Company Limited announced it is accepting applications for the position of President and Chief Executive Officer, in accordance with the selection committee's announcement. The company has specified candidate qualifications, educational background, employment conditions, and application procedures in detail. Applications will be accepted from October 27 to November 18, 2026.

CEO Candidate Qualifications: Applicants must meet the following requirements and not possess any prohibited characteristics:

Nationality and Age: Must be Thai national and not older than 58 years on the application submission date. Education: Must hold at least a bachelor's degree. Legal Qualifications: Must meet qualifications and not have prohibited characteristics under Sections 8/3 and 8/4 of the State Enterprise Personnel Standards Act B.E. 2518 (as amended), and Section 68 of the Public Limited Companies Act B.E. 2535 (as amended). Trustworthiness: Must not display characteristics indicating unsuitability to manage a publicly held organization under Sections 89/3 and 89/6 of the Securities and Exchange Act B.E. 2535 (as amended), including SEC Notification No. Kor Jor. 3/2560 regarding untrustworthy characteristics of directors and executives. Management Knowledge and Experience: Must possess knowledge, ability, experience, and vision in energy, petroleum, petrochemical, and related businesses, as well as experience managing large organizations. Specific criteria: - Private sector or state enterprise executives: Must have held position no lower than Deputy Chief Executive of an organization with annual turnover of at least 50 billion baht, with verifiable financial statements, organizational structure, annual reports, or 56-1 One Report during tenure. - Government agency executives at departmental level or equivalent: Must have held position no lower than Deputy Chief Executive of that organization. Decision-Making and Management Ability: Must demonstrate high-level decision-making, command, and problem-solving skills, and ability to steer the organization toward goals set by the Board of Directors. Leadership and Governance: Must possess leadership qualities, integrity, adherence to good governance principles, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to coordinate effectively domestically and internationally.
