On May 21, 2025, the Fire & Rescue Thailand Facebook page alerted the public to a hotel fire in Pattaya, Chon Buri Province. The fire broke out at 9:00 PM with many people trapped inside as firefighters rushed to assist. Video footage showed flames erupting from the hotel's rooftop while rescue personnel worked to evacuate stranded guests and battle the blaze. By 10:00 PM, firefighters had partially contained the fire and were evacuating large numbers of tourists from the building, though many suffered smoke inhalation. By 10:10 PM, the fire had spread down into the guest room levels. Firefighters continued their containment efforts with further updates to follow.
