Landlord Furious As Tenants Leave Room Buried In Trash
A Ko Lanta landlord shared photos of a rental room left buried in trash by departing tenants, revealing piles of garbage, food waste, and unused sanitary pads, after the couple failed to pay rent or utilities on time.
On July 6, 2024, a Facebook member named "Keng Indigo" posted shocking footage after finding his rental room transformed into a garbage pile left by a couple. The landlord was furious about the accumulation of trash and used sanitary pads, writing that he never expected to encounter such tenants and couldn't believe they lived that way. He described piles of garbage the size of a head, discarded food waste, and unused sanitary pads still stored in the room.
The landlord noted he had shown them patience throughout, offering rent installments and assistance, but they neither paid utilities nor their rent on time. He publicly shamed them, warning them not to do this to other rental properties, and threatened to share their details on his social media page. According to his posts, the couple kept the air conditioner running all day while leaving the room in deplorable condition, filled with trash that nearly blocked the entrance. He couldn't even identify where they slept. Commenters noted the couple never disposed of sanitary pads, the situation was so bad the landlord lost his appetite, and the door could barely open due to the garbage blocking the way.
