Lost Diamond Bracelet Found, Woman Agrees to Return
A diamond and sapphire bracelet worth 250,000 baht lost near Siam Square was found by a woman who agreed to return it after police traced her through CCTV footage.
Pathumwan police launched an investigation after a report surfaced about a missing gold bracelet embedded with diamonds and sapphires valued at roughly 250,000 baht. On June 28, Ms. Kasama Ooma filed a report stating the bracelet disappeared near the Watson's storefront at Siam Square on Rama 1 Road, uncertain whether it had dropped or been taken. CCTV footage reviewed on June 29 confirmed the bracelet had fallen to the ground and was picked up by a woman, who then walked through Siam Square Soi 2 into the SIAMSCAPE building where she used a cosmetic clinic. Investigators traced her route and identified her through phone contact. The woman, Narumpol Lattisungnoen, admitted to finding and keeping the bracelet, currently carrying it while attending a relative's funeral in Khon Kaen province. She stated she would return to Bangkok on Sunday or Monday and agreed to return the bracelet to its owner, with investigators providing the victim her contact information for direct arrangement.
